Rivals on the field and friends off the field – Australia and Japan are kicking goals in a range of sports fora. Australia is currently delivering the 'Green and Gold Decade' – during which Australia will host five of the seven largest sporting events in the world. Meanwhile this year Tokyo will host two major sports events – World Athletics Championships and the Deaflympics. Events of this scale showcase and harness a nation's sporting prowess and bring communities and countries together.
The ANZCCJ in collaboration with the Australia Japan Business Cooperation Committee (AJBCC), Australian Sports Technologies Network (ASTN), and the Australian Embassy, invites members and guests to this important panel talk and networking event providing insights into the current state of play between Australia and Japan sports cooperation, competition and the hosting of major events.

フィールドではライバル、フィールドを離れれば友人──オーストラリアと日本は、さまざまなスポーツの舞台で活躍し、成功を収めています。現在、オーストラリアは「グリーン＆ゴールド・ディケード（Green and Gold Decade）」の真っ只中にあり、世界で開催される7つの主要スポーツイベントのうち5つを開催する予定です。一方、東京では今年、「世界陸上選手権大会」World Athletics Championshipsと「デフリンピック」Deaflympicsという2つの大規模スポーツイベントが開催されます。このような大規模イベントは、その国のスポーツの実力を示すとともに、コミュニティや国同士をつなぐ重要な機会となります。
