Since the launch of the Australia Japan Business Womens' Network (AJBWN)in 2023, the network has grown in size and momentum, including the AJBCC DEI roundtable in October, International Women's Day celebrations and the launch of the AJBWN Perth chapter.

Business opportunities between the two countries continue to flourish with significant activity in transformational areas including energy transition, urban development and digitalisation – and it's great to see women leading the way bringing fresh ideas and creating an atmosphere of creativity.

We would be delighted if you are able to join us for our second AJBWN Tokyo branch event over some delicious Aussie cuisine, where we can make new connections and reconnect with friends recently returned from assignments in Australia.

Natsuko Ogawa, partner of Ashurst, and one of the founders of the AJBWN, will provide her perspective on the Australia Japan business relationship and an update on the AJBWN's activities, including upcoming opportunities in the lead up to the 61st Australia-Japan Business Conference in Nagoya later in the year.
