ANZCCJ invites members and friends to join us in celebratingInternational Women's Day at a special breakfast event on 8 March at the Pullman Tokyo Tamachi. Chamber co-vice chair Ms Catherine O'Connell will moderate a discussion with senior business leaders Ms Eriko Asai, Co-Founder, Trinity Indo-Pacific Partners;Mr Takuro Kimura, Founder and CEO, G-Cubed Partners and Chairman of Women of the World Endowment (WoWE); and Ms Julia Spotswood, Founder, Jetset Dry Bar on the2024 theme of 'Invest in women: Accelerate Progress', delving into how ensuring gender equality and women's well-being across all areas of life is vital for building prosperous economies and sustaining a healthy planet, particularly in the current global landscape. From tackling the macro challenges of gender-lens investing; to successfully carving a name in Japan`s ultra-competitive beauty industry; and launching a multi-national strategic advisory company as the world emerged from the pandemic, the discussion will highlight the importance of how empowering women across various spheres, including entrepreneurship, leadership, and beyond is vital in accelerating progress.
