Japan stands as Australia's second-largest trading and foreign investment partner, with its enterprises offering Australians access to crucial technology and investment that supports vital sectors. At present, our concerted efforts are directed towards addressing the rapid changes necessary to confront the energy transition challenge through technological, construction, and financial partnerships between our nations.

ANZCCJ, in collaboration with CIMIC Group, invites members and guests to join us on 5 September 2023, for the second instalment in the ANZCCJ Hydrogen Series. This event will feature a panel discussion on the enormous opportunities and requirements for Australia and Japan to collaborate to overcome the challenges of developing the hydrogen supply chain.

From molecules and critical infrastructure in Australia to an end-use fuel in Japan, the panel will deep dive into the numerous aspects of the hydrogen supply chain including a case study on requirements to produce 1-3Mt of ammonia annually in Australia for export to Japan.
