Similarly, in Japan, foreign direct investment strengthens economic growth and regional revival bolstering the Japanese economy's potential. The bilateral relationship is stronger than ever – forming a strong economic, trade, security and strategic partnership.
ANZCCJ, in collaboration with the Australian Treasury, invites members and guests to join us on 19 October 2023, for a panel discussion on the Developments Foreign Investment Frameworks and Trends in Australian and Japan.
The panel will delve into Australia and Japan's foreign investment landscape including (i) updates on the Australian economy and foreign investment framework (ii) Japan's ambitious strategy to attract 100 trillion yen in foreign capital; (iii) foreign investment trends across Australia and Japan – including the carbon neutral economy; and (iv) addressing the challenges to foreign expansion opportunities; market entry and growth.
