ANZCCJ invites members and friends to join us in celebrating International Women's Day at a special breakfast event on 7 March at the Pullman Tokyo Tamachi. Ms Rebecca Thorn, General Manager, Hotel Indigo Tokyo Shibuya will moderate a discussion with senior business leaders including Ms Cynthia Usui, a renowned, customer-centric hospitality professional; Ms Elizabeth Anne Kyle, Founder and CEO at Arigato Travel; Ms Yukiko Sakai, Senior Technical Manager, Product Development and Quality Assurance at Leprino Foods; and Mr Dean Daniels, Vice President Operations, Representative Director Accor Japan K.K on the 2025 theme of `Accelerate Action` which underscores the need for prompt and decisive action to achieve gender equality and calls for intensified efforts to break down the systemic barriers and biases women face in both their personal and professional lives. The discussion will highlight Japan's booming inbound tourism and hospitality sector and how this opportunity can be leveraged to empower women, and what the sector is doing to #AccelerateAction.
